4 Yummy Fruit Infused Water Recipes

We are all made up primarily of …Water. And, yes, I know that water can be boring to drink. But when you really look at all the benefits of water, you know how important it is to drink more of it.

The food industry has become very creative in the assortment of beverages that are available in the stores but none compare to the benefits of real water. There is so much sugar, coloring, caffeine, and all sorts of other things that make these beverages unhealthy. They provide flavor and tons of unhealthy ingredients.

Drinking more WATER helps you burn more fat!

Plain water can be a bit boring so INFUSED is a great way to go. Infused water provides the essence of fresh, sweet, wonderful fruit, veggies, & herbs into your water. This gives it several micro-nutrients and just enough flavor to spice things up.

Why is Infused Water the way to go?

Without all of the sugar, chemicals, and artificial “stuff” you get…

Refreshing Flavor

Unlike a traditional beverages, infused water actually refreshes and hydrates, at the same time providing you with nutrients for an extra bonus.

Cut Out the Sugar

When water is infused you get the essence of the fruit, veggies, & herbs without any added sugar.

DIY Fruit Infused Water!

This is definitely not rocket science, I’ll give you my favorite tips here but use this only as a guide and put your own creativity to work as you combine some of your favorite flavors.

First things First - For a large batch of infused water, fill a pitcher or your water bottle with purified water, mix in some chopped up fruits, veggies, and/or herbs and let it sit in the fridge for 2-8 hours (depending on how strong you want the flavor to be.) *My personal best flavor comes right at that 4 hour mark.

For individual drinks I love using half-gallon mason jars. They are just so darn cute.

And then, of course, there are ready made infusing pitchers and jars for larger batches. These come with a center section for the fruit, and make it easy to pour the water without getting the fruit into your glass.

Use Only the Very Best Ingredients in your Water

Stick to purified or filtered water, and when choosing your fruits, veggies, & herbs make them organic. We want to infuse the best of the best, with no pesticides or chemicals!

2. Strawberry + Orange

3. Pineapple + Mint

4. Grapefruit + Raspberry

Ok, here’s the way to go…

For a gallon –sized jar you want about a cups worth of chopped fruits or veggies. Remember this is your recipe, if you want it stronger there is no harm in adding more. When it comes to herbs like mint or basil, think of a handful of crushed leaves. Again, feel free to play with the quantity.

Like I mentioned before, store your infused water in the refrigerator for 2-8 hours to get the right flavor before you serve it. But keep in mind that it will last for several days in there for you to enjoy over and over.

Are you wanting to get fit and lose as much fat as possible, and are you looking to revamp your nutrition and lifestyle as a whole? You will get better and faster results if you skip the juices, sweeteners, beer, wine, and alcohol.
